Pre-Ballet (Ages 3-5)

This is a perfect age to enter the wonderful world of dance! Develop coordination, rhythm, and basic ballet positions in a fun and gentle introduction to dance. Ballet shoes and leotard are required.

Music and Movement (Ages 2-4)

Explore rhythm, tempo, and basic timing in this class! This is an introductory class that uses simple actions and dance movements with on focus on child friend music

Square Dancing (Ages 16+)

Fourth of July (observed) - Offices Closed

Most JCPRD offices and facilities will be closed today in observance of the Fourth of July holiday. Visitor Services at the JCPRD Administration Building will be open from 9 am - 5 pm. The beach and marina at Shawnee Mission Park will be open regular hours. Heritage Park and Tomahawk Hills golf courses will be open.

History Geek Camp

Young historians will love digging into the past in this unique week-long camp! Explore areas of the museum off limits to the public and take on the role of a curator to create a display for the museum. We will travel to Lanesfield Historic Site for more fun! Camp Details: * Camp fees include all materials and field trip fees. * All camps require a water bottle daily. * Children must bring a sack lunch and 2 snacks each day.
