Pre-Ballet (Ages 3-5)

This is a perfect age to enter the wonderful world of dance! Develop coordination, rhythm, and basic ballet positions in a fun and gentle introduction to dance. Ballet shoes and leotard are required.

Music and Movement (Ages 2-4)

Explore rhythm, tempo, and basic timing in this class! This is an introductory class that uses simple actions and dance movements with on focus on child friend music

Square Dancing (Ages 16+)

Art Labs: Portfolio Prep (Ages 10-15)

Is it in your dreams to become an artist one day? An illustrator? An architect? Visual arts build skills for problem-solving, creative thinking, and more; this Art Lab will help students build a quality portfolio as they learn how to apply these skills to their dreams! This camp will give students the opportunity to photograph their work and finish with a final portfolio ready to be on display!

THRIFTY THURSDAY PERFORMANCE - Half Time - Gotta Dance at Theatre in the Park

GET 20% OFF at the box office for this evening's performance! HALF TIME is the incredible true story of ten determined dreamers who audition to dance at half time for a major basketball team. They have three things in common: they love to dance, they have something to prove, and they are all over 60 years-old. Only after making the cut do they learn they won’t be dancing tap, salsa or swing—instead, they will bring down the house with a style that is entirely new to them: hip-hop. Along the way through mentorship and friendship they battle self-doubt, stereotypes and even each other for a chance to bust a move at center court in front of 20,000 screaming fans. Together they remind us that in life, when the odds are stacked against you and the challenges seem too great to overcome, it’s not the end of the game—it’s HALF TIME. Half Time - Gotta Dance is based on the motion picture “Gotta Dance,” directed, written and produced by Dori Berinstein.

KidScape Summer Adventures - Made in Johnson County

Explore the Johnson County Museum and our kid-sized community, KidScape, this summer! Discover history through crafts and projects inspired by our signature and temporary exhibits. New activities and explorations each week. Bring a lunch, water bottle, and snacks. Campers must have completed kindergarten to attend. This week's theme is "Made in Johnson County" Camp Details: * Camp fees include all materials and field trip fees. * All camps require a water bottle daily. * Children must bring a sack lunch and 2 snacks each day.
