Get ready to become a master spy! Explore spycraft and make spy devices like de-coder disks, learn to write secret messages in invisible ink and more. Design, logic, science and making will all be part of this camp. *The last day of camp, 12/24, will end at noon.

Cozy up at the nature center for winter break! We will do activities and experiments inside and out! Dress for the weather and learn about survival and animal adaptations in a winter wonderland. For the convenience of working parents, supervision will be provided from 7:30 am - 5:30 pm. Scheduled activities are from 9 am - 4 pm. Children will need a lunch and water bottle each day. Snacks served daily. A camper data sheet will be required for attendees and will be emailed prior to the start date of camp. Camp fees are nonrefundable. This hands-on camp will teach you the science of animal tracking, fire starting, archery and campfire cooking in addition to awakening ancestral traditions. Be aware that this is an outdoor skills camp — nearly all activities will be conducted outside in potentially inclement weather, so please dress appropriately. Instruction provided by wildlife biologist Jess Rice and certified animal trapper Jeff Fouquet, who possess years of outdoor education experience between them. Children should bring a lunch and reusable water bottle. Camp will meet and pick up every day from Ernie Miller Nature Center. A medical form must be completed and returned one week prior to camp.
