Climb through the Flint Hills to see incredible views along natural trails dotted with bison. Lunch at Ad Astra Food & Drink.
Find your favorite trails all over the region! We provide transportation and a lunch reservation at a local restaurant close to our destination. Lunch costs on your own. Depart from Antioch Park. Return times vary. Inclement weather date is the following week. Staff will determine if weather conditions are suitable for hiking. Please bring your own water bottle. Please register at least one week prior to departure.
Activity Level: Moderate (Natural or paved trail with elevation changes and variety of terrain) Recommended for participants with good balance and experience on nature trails. Use of hiking boots and walking sticks optional.

Interact with museum staff as you learn why we collect, how we collect, and the importance to our local community. Our collection features over 17,000 3D objects and over one million images. The Johnson County Arts & Heritage Center holds the museum’s two-dimensional collection, including manuscripts, maps, photographs, and quilts.
