Learn the fundamentals of ukulele. Of the family of the lute instruments. Similar to guitar but with only six to eight strings!. A great course for beginners. Must provide own Ukulele.

Monologues, dialogue between characters, and evoking emotion as actors are just a few things you will learn in this introductory class. A teaching artist will be facilitating the program, however this class will also center on peer interaction and discussion. This class ends with a student showcase for family and friends.

Whether your chords are just rusty or you have never played before, this course will teach beginning finger styles and chord patterns that will set you on the path from guitar zero to guitar hero! You are required to bring your own guitar.

Music, movement and imagination!!! Join the nature center staff as we act out stories with animal and yoga moves. These parent and child experiences are designed to encourage creativity, coordination and enhance awareness of the natural world. All children must be accompanied by a participating adult. See a live animal every time.

Enjoy a favorite Kansas tradition at this fall themed event: chili and cinnamon rolls! Make new friends and enjoy a full meal, prizes, fun, and 12 games of bingo. Variety of prizes awarded including gift certificates and everyone receives a special fall-themed gift. Pre-registration required one week before event. Cost of admission covers food and staff time to administer the bingo program. No additional charge for bingo. This delicious event is just $15 per person, $16 nonresidents.
