50 Plus Nature Walks

  1. Wednesday Walk: Baker Wetlands

    June 17, 2020, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM @ Antioch Park

    Make friends while exploring the great outdoors! We drive; you relax, listen to the wind and experience new destinations! Bring a sack lunch for a picnic after our walk and a few dollars in case we stop for ice cream. Depart from Antioch Park. Return times vary. Inclement weather date is the following week. Staff will determine if weather conditions are suitable for walking. Please bring your own water bottle. Please register at least one week prior to departure. BAKER WETLANDS – Experience the native flora and fauna of our Kansas wetlands. Take time at the visitor’s center to learn about the history of landmark.

Fishing, boating, and archery permits will be waived in the designated JCPRD parks on these days only.
