    Stroll on the Trail of Treats in your costume! Visit stations where you will hear stories from costumed characters, meet animal friends, listen to "spooky" animal sounds, and get a few treats! Adult and child must register and pay. Event is outdoors and may be moved inside or cancelled for inclement weather. Event is stroller friendly. Advanced registration is required. 1 - 1 hr. event $5 / $6 non-resident; fee is per person, including adults

  3. World Groove in Nature (Ages 18 & older)

    Get ready to groove in nature. Join us for an outdoor World Groove session. World Groove is a super simple way to move and dance using many styles of music. It is playful and fun for all fitness levels. No experience necessary, no fancy steps, no special equipment needed, come as you are! For more information contact Senior Park Naturalist Molly Postlewait 913-826-2804. Advanced registration required. Program may be moved inside Nature Center for inclement weather.

  4. Once in a Blue Moon Hike (Ages 8 & Older)

    October 30, 2020, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM @ Ernie Miller Nature Center

    By the light of the blue moon, join us for a quiet hike to connect with nature and the night sounds. Let your eyes adjust to the moonlight and experience the park after dark. Enjoy shadows, listen for owls, and finish with a hot drink. The full moon hike will happen even on overcast nights. Dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes.
