We are open from 7 AM to 6 PM. There is a designated JCPRD Camp door. Please ring the doorbell or call the site cell number, and a staff will come let you in. You must walk your camper in every morning and sign them in. Do NOT leave your child until a staff has checked in with you.
Check the Camp Activity Calendar for field trip departure times. Make sure your camper is at the site before any field trip departures. The bus will not wait for any late arrivals on those days. Your Program Director will notify you if drop-off procedures change.
Please notify your camp director or staff if your child will be absent from camp!
Children are not required to attend camp every day. There is one fee for summer camp. Indoor Summer Camp is based on reservation and is a full summer commitment. We do not prorate fees for illness or vacations. Children can be checked in anytime during camp hours (be mindful of the Activity Calendar for departure times). Please call the camp phone to notify staff of your arrival if staff are not outside to meet you when dropping off/picking up.
Campers go to the pool a couple times a week in addition to another weekly field trip. The camp is full of activities on days they remain at the camp school site. Staff engage the children with STEAM activities, cooking projects, arts and crafts, board games, sports, outside time, and much more! JCPRD provides a morning and an afternoon snack. Campers bring a lunch from home. Camp is busy with lots of activities, so get ready for some fun!
Yes, a pool pass is required for camp. You must purchase a pool pass from the City in which your camp is located. Check the webpage for where you camp will be swimming.
Fees can be paid in one lump sum or in weekly tuition. Payments are due on Fridays in advance of programming. You will be required to provide payment information for recurring payments at the time of registration in your ActiveNet Account. Fees are based on reservation and not attendance. Refunds and credits will not be issued for illness or vacation. The non-refundable Registration Fee is paid at the time of registration.
Each site director plans their own field trips, so trips can vary from camp to camp. Sample field trips may include museums, parks, baseball games, miniature golfing, movies, zoos, nature centers, bowling and more.
Generally, it is after 9 AM, but this could vary. Please contact your director and consult your Summer Calendar provided at Parent Orientation.
No, a sack lunch must be provided for your child unless the site participates in the Summer Lunch Program. Please contact your program director to determine if your child’s summer camp location participates in the summer lunch program. JCPRD will provide a healthy morning and afternoon snack each day.
Children will receive both a morning and afternoon snack daily. We provide various healthy snack options that are low in fat and sugars. Examples include: fruits, vegetables, yogurt, and whole grains.
All participants are required to attend field trips if they are present for the day.
No worries! Children must pass a swim test to enter areas of the pool in which they cannot touch. Children who either do not take the swim test or do not pass will be given a bright orange wristband to easily identify them by staff and lifeguards as "non-swimmers". Staff reserve the right to not pass a child if they are uncomfortable with their swimming abilities.
