Sunflower Nature Park
Sunflower Nature Park is a 57-acre park just south of K-10 Highway near Edgerton Road. The park features a paved one-mile loop trail, a small pond, picnic shelter, two parking lots, restroom, and two ball fields adjacent to the nature area.
Park Shelter
Sunfower Nature park has one shelter. To ensure the use of a shelter, reservations are recommended.

To check availability or to reserve a shelter online, visit the reservation and rentals page, call (913) 831-3359, Monday - Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m., or visit our Registration Office in Antioch Park.
Pond
JCPRD fishing permits, and state fishing licenses (per state regulations) are required before utilizing the lake. See below for requirements.
