1. What are the new admission and membership fees?

• Admission includes sales tax:
  • $6 - Adults
  • $5 - Seniors, Veterans, and Students over 17 with school identification
  • $4 - Child
  • $23 - Family Daily Rate
  • Children under 1 year are Free
• Membership:
  • $35 - Individual/Dual - 2 people admitted entrance per visit; membership valid for one year from date of purchase
  • $60 - Family - Up to 6 people admitted per visit; membership valid for one year from date of purchase
  • $90 - Family/Group - Up to 12 people admitted per visit; membership valid for one year from date of purchase

2. If I purchased a membership in 2019 do I have to pay more or buy another membership?

No! However, the rules of your membership have been changed! Instead of your family membership only being for family you bring on your visit, it is now valid for any 6 people you choose!

3. How long would a Membership be valid?

Memberships are valid for one year from the date of purchase.

4. How can I purchase a membership? When can I begin using it?

Your membership, valid immediately upon transaction, may be purchased in several ways:

• To purchase membership by phone, call (913) 826-2787. Your membership card will be sent to you in the mail.
• Or you may purchase a new membership at the Museum's Front Desk on the day of your visit. New Members are issued a member card.

5. How do I visit the Museum before my cards arrive?

You can visit the Museum by checking in at the Front Desk with your name and verifying your phone number and address.

6. Can I give my membership card to a friend to use for a visit?

No, your membership card is non-transferable.

7. I already bought admission tickets. Can my purchases go toward a new membership?

Yes! Guests may apply their ticket purchase towards a membership on the same day of your visit. On the day of your visit, you may visit our Front Desk to convert towards a membership. Your tickets will be fully applied to your new membership.

8. Is there a membership discount for teachers? Military personnel? Seniors?

We do not offer membership discounts. However, veterans, students over 17 (with School ID) and seniors enjoy a $1 admission discount for general admission tickets for the Museum.

9. I have moved or changed my email address. How can I change my address?

10. If I provide my email address, how often will I hear from the Museum?

In addition to the monthly e-newsletter, you will receive a few emails each month about upcoming programs, events, or special offers.

11. Does the Museum share my information with anyone else?

No! The Johnson County Museum is a facility of the Johnson County Park and Recreation District (JCPRD). No information obtained by JCPRD will be shared with any outside individual or organization.
