Announcing our new Golf Pro, Michael Tanner!
Michael grew up in Overland Park, Kansas where he started playing golf at the age of 9. He continued to grow his love of the game while playing at Shawnee Mission South, Johnson County Community College, and the University of Missouri Kansas City.
Michael began his career as an Assistant Golf Professional at Milburn Country Club in 2002. While working at Milburn he completed the PGM program and became a member of the PGA in 2010. In January 2012 Michael became a Head Golf Professional for the Overland Park Golf Division.
Michael is currently on the Championship & Member Tournament Committee of the Midwest Section PGA.
Michael lives in Kansas City, Kansas with his wife Christy, and their two kids Lily and Beckham.
Michael begins his career with JCPRD today. He would love to meet you and get to know our awesome patrons. Michael will be working alongside Jay Lispi until he retires on March 18.
