Public feedback wanted for Helen S. Cuddy rose garden renovation project

Antioch Park Rose Garden and Gazebo

The Johnson County Park and Recreation District (JCPRD) has developed a preferred concept for the Helen S. Cuddy Rose Garden Renovation Project in Antioch Park. See the park map and address below. Community members are encouraged to participate in an online survey about the proposed improvements through June 22 at surveymonkey.com/r/HelenCuddyRoseGarden. Your feedback will help JCPRD and the consultant team ensure the Helen S. Cuddy Rose Garden provides an equitable and engaging experience for all visitors to Antioch Park.

The Helen S. Cuddy Rose Garden is located just inside the north entrance to Antioch Park. It consists of approximately 500 different roses, beautiful trees and landscaping, a fountain, a gazebo, and more. The planning process for the Helen S. Cuddy Rose Garden Renovation Project began during winter 2020 and will conclude this summer with the renovation work anticipated to take place in fall 2021. Community feedback will help us identify additional improvements and recommendations to include in the final design. The effort will advance our commitment to enhancing the quality of life in Johnson County by providing high-quality parks, services, and recreation programs.
