Learn the basics of a classic tabletop game during a program being offered by the 50 Plus Department of the Johnson County Park and Recreation District in late April. Physical distancing and COVID-19 safe practices will be encouraged during this program.
This program is called Intro to Mah Jongg. Participants will learn the game from an experienced instructor. Each player will receive a current Mah Jongg card to take home.

Intro to Mah Jongg will meet at 1 p.m. Wednesdays beginning April 28 at the Roeland Park Community Center, 4850 Rosewood Dr., Roeland Park. The cost for three two-hour sessions is $42 per person for Johnson County residents or $46 per person for nonresidents.

While JCPRD’s 50 Plus programs are primarily for people who are age 50 or older, interested parties who have not yet reached that magic age may still be able to attend.
