Out of School Days at Ernie Miller Nature Center for ages 6-12 continue on Feb. 5, 11, 12, 25, & 26

During out of school days scheduled through April, youth ages six to 12 can see live animals, hear stories, hike, play in the forest, and much more during a program being presented at the Johnson County Park and Recreation District’s Ernie Miller Nature Center in Olathe. 

This program is called Out of School Days at Ernie Miller, which will take place at the nature center located at 909 N. Kansas 7 Highway, Olathe. Programming runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on each day this program is scheduled, and supervision will be provided from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm. Participants will need a lunch and water bottle each day. Snacks will be served daily. Children should dress for the weather. A camper data sheet will be required for attendees and will be emailed prior to the start date of camp. Camp fees are nonrefundable.

February Out of School Days at Ernie Miller will take place on Friday, Feb. 5 (activity number 7815); Thursday, Feb. 11 (activity number 7816); Friday, Feb. 12 (activity number 7817); Thursday, Feb. 25 (activity number 7818); and Friday, Feb. 26 (activity number 7819). Other upcoming Out of School Days at Ernie Miller  are scheduled for March 22 (activity number 7820); March 29 (activity number 7821); April 16 (activity number 7822); and April 30 (activity number 7823).
