A new Recreational Soccer Camp for youth is being offered by the Johnson County Park and Recreation District beginning in early July. Physical distancing and COVID-19 safe practices will be observed during this program.

This program is for ages four to 12. Puma FC club soccer coaches will run this camp, which is designed for kids who play or desire to play in recreational leagues. Participants will be split into groups based on age and gender, and will partake in various drills covering the basics of soccer. Players should bring their own soccer ball and water bottle. Shin guards and long socks to cover the shin guards are required. This program does not appear in JCPRD’s Summer Camp Guide or in the current My JCPRD catalog.

Recreational Soccer Camp will take place beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays beginning July 7 at Heritage Soccer Park. The cost for three 75-minute sessions is $30 per person.
