The next issue of the Johnson County Park and Recreation District’s My JCPRD Activities catalog will be online at www.jcprd.com on Friday, March 20, and in print form the week of March 23. Registration for classes in the catalog begins at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, March 23. The free publication covers JCPRD programs and events offered between May and August.
The 64-page publication lists more than 500 programs. The catalog features more concise program listings and directs readers to the website for more details.
Spring and summer special events in this issue include: Enchanted Fairytale Forest; HP3 5K, 10K, and 15K; the 23rd Annual Special Olympics Fundraiser lunch; the Shawnee Mission Triathlon & Duathlon; the JCPRD U Kids Triathlon; A Day in the Park; the Great American Family Campout, and much more.
JCPRD’s 2020 Camp Guide will not be included in the May through August catalog because it was mailed to JCPRD’s entire mailing list in late January, and the guide is now available at Johnson County Library locations, and online at www.jcprd.com. Some additional summer camps are also listed inside the regular catalog.
The My JCPRD Activities catalog is mailed out to approximately 38,000 past participants. Once they reopen to the public, catalogs will also be available at Johnson County Library Branches, community centers, various businesses, and at district locations.
Updated JCPRD program listings and 24-hour online registration are available on the district’s website at www.jcprd.com.
