A holiday-themed gymnastics program for young children involving hundreds of candy canes hidden throughout the Mill Creek Activity Center is being offered in early December by the gymnastics department of the Johnson County Park and Recreation District.
Called the Candy Cane Hunt, this program is for children ages five and under with a parent or guardian. The event will begin with a festive craft, then participants will hunt for candy canes hidden around the facility. There will also be opportunity to take part in open playground as well.
