First ever Trunk or Treat at the Creek event is Oct. 25 at Mill Creek Activity Center

Enjoy a night of Halloween-themed family fun during a new special event at the Johnson County Park and Recreation District’s Mill Creek Activity Center in late October. 

This event is called Trunk or Treat at the Creek and is for all ages. Participants are invited to put on their costumes, and enjoy gymnastics open play along with face painting, crafts, candy, and more. To find this program in the My JCPRD Activities catalog and online listings, browse first under Fun For All and then under Special Events. In the catalog and when using the website’s advanced search, look for the keywords “Special Event.”

Trunk or Treat at the Creek will take place from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 25, at the facility, which is located at 6518 Vista Drive, Shawnee. The cost is $2 per person, and preregistration is required.  For more information, call (913) 826-2950. To register by phone, call (913) 831-3359.
