Make new friends and enjoy a full meal, prizes, fun, and 12 games of bingo during a special event bingo presentation in late June by the 50 Plus Department of the Johnson County Park and Recreation District.
This program is called Special Event Bingo - International Picnic Day. Play the day away and enjoy lawn games, tasty food, and bingo. Lunch is included. In the printed catalog and when using the website’s advanced search, look for the keyword “games.”
Special Event Bingo - International Picnic Day will take place beginning at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 18, at the Meadowbrook Park Clubhouse, 9101 Nall Ave., Prairie Village. The cost for this two-and-one-half-hour event is $15 per person for Johnson County residents or $16 for nonresidents before June 11. After that date, the cost increases to $18 per person for Johnson County residents or $19 for nonresidents. The cost of admission covers food and staff time to administer the bingo program. There is no additional charge for bingo.

While JCPRD’s 50 Plus programs are primarily for people who are age 50 or older, interested parties who have not yet reached that magic age may still be able to attend. Persons 18 and older who are interested in a 50 Plus class are invited to call the 50 Plus Department at (913) 826-3030 for space availability.
