Friendsgiving event is Nov. 27 at Cedar Lake Village

Bring your friends and enjoy a Friendsgiving event being presented by the 50 Plus Department of the Johnson County Park and Recreation District a few days after Thanksgiving.


Built around the idea that pumpkin pie and festivities shouldn't be reserved for just one day per year, this two-hour event will feature festive trivia and bingo with prizes. 


To find this program in the My JCPRD Activities catalog and online listings, browse first under special events  and then under 50 Plus. In the catalog and when using the website’s advanced search,  look for the keywords “social event.” 


This program will take place beginning at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 27, at Cedar Lake Village, 15325 S. Lone Elm Road, Olathe. The cost for one two-hour program is $10 per person for Johnson County residents or $11 per person for nonresidents. Cost of admission covers food (or snacks) and staff time to administer the bingo program. No additional charge for bingo. Advance registration is required. While JCPRD’s 50 Plus programs are primarily for people who are age 50 or older, interested parties who have not yet reached that magic age may still be able to attend. Persons 18 and older who are interested in a 50 Plus class are invited to call the 50 Plus Department at (913) 826-3030 for space availability.


The My JCPRD Activities catalog, with information and a registration form, is available for pickup at all Johnson County Library branches.
