Join us for this free, day-long celebration of our community’s trails, parks, and recreational spaces.

Join us for this free, day-long celebration of our community’s trails, parks, and recreational spaces. Take advantage of free admission to the Shawnee Mission Park Beach, which will be open from noon to 6 p.m. Concessions will be available for purchase at the Shawnee Mission Park Beach House. The event is being held in conjunction with National Trails Day and coincides with JCPRD’s annual free fishing weekend when both Kansas and district fishing and boating permits are waived, with the exception of those fishing for trout.
