    Explore Clarinda, Iowa and tour the Glenn Miller Birthplace Home & Museum. Learn all about his contributions to the War and his Army Air Force Band. Clarinda was one of two POW Camps during WWII, learn about the history and see original artifacts from the camp while visiting Nodaway Valley Historical Museum we’ll also hear about the development of 4-H, and see the freedom rock. Tour the Carnegie Art Museum. Enjoy lunch at the Ice House.

    Recently voted the best new attraction in America by USA Today, the Johnny Morris’ Wonders of Wildlife Natural Museum and Aquarium is not to be missed. Explore all this 350,000-square-foot facility has to offer; including mammals, reptiles, amphibians, 35,000 live fish and birds from 8,700 different species. Reported as the “largest and most important natural history museum to open in American in more than century” Wonders of Wildlife is even bigger than the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History in Washington D.C.! Take a walk on the wild side and consider taking the opportunity to pet a kiddie-sized shark or stroke-a-stingray during your visit. Enjoy lunch at Hemingway's Café on site.

  3. Social Outing: Talk of the Town

    You talked, we listened! Social outing are a shorter version of a daytrip, set at a lower price. Discover a new city, a boutique, restaurant, or local event. All meals and/or snack costs are on your own, and transportation will be in district vehicles. Outings depart from Antioch Park. Pre-paid ticket costs and a $5 processing fee will be deducted from cancellation refunds. Within seven days of trip, cancellations are non-refundable.
