If you’re thinking about travel destinations for 2019 and beyond, check out our upcoming travel show for 50 Plus in late February.
This show will be presented beginning at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 19, at the Johnson County Arts & Heritage Center, located at 8788 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park.
During this free three-hour travel show event, participants will spend an afternoon meeting 50 Plus travel professionals while previewing our scheduled destinations and beautiful vacation spots. Learn about the benefits of choosing to travel with us and see photos of our past travel experiences. Brochures and itineraries are available to help you choose where you want to go, whether it's your first trip, your tenth trip, or your 50th trip! Attendees are eligible for door prizes and Travel Show booking incentives.
50 Plus Administrative Assistant Rachel Rendina said this show will be an opportunity to present information about some new trips that will not be formally announced until the next My JCPRD Activities catalog comes out on March 25.
"We are excited to present our newly added tours, including Memorials of World War II, Colors of New England, and the French Riviera," she said. "Our group tour, Memorials of World War II featuring the 75th Anniversary of D-Day, will cover the cities of London, Paris, Reims, Caen and the historic beaches of Normandy."
Rendina noted this show will also be the last opportunity to preview and book the Treasures of Egypt Trip, which will take place Nov. 13-25.
JCPRD travel shows occur once each four-month season and typically bring in 100 attendees. This is a perfect opportunity to get questions answered about 50 Plus Travel and these specific tours. Call (913) 826-3030 to RSVP for the February travel show.
