JCPRD launched a new online registration system called ActiveNet
on Wednesday, Oct. 28. While the new system will function very similarly to the PerfectMind system JCPRD has used since October 2017, viewing, searching, and registering for activities will be more mobile friendly when using a tablet, or smart phone.
ActiveNet’s activity list view provides a more comprehensive way of previewing multiple offerings. Customer account management capabilities, such as paying invoices, registering for activities, and viewing activity schedules will be largely the same. New capabilities afforded by ActiveNet are that the public will now be able to purchase and renew permits such as fishing, archery, and boating, as well as fitness, Shawnee Mission School District Aquatic Center, and Johnson County Museum memberships.
JCPRD’s Children’s Services Department is also now able to offer direct online registration for Out of School Time (OST) programs.
Eventually ActiveNet will also provide the capability to reserved and pay for park shelter reservations online, but no date for that has been set.
Unfortunately, JCPRD’s old system and the new don’t communicate well with each other, so all existing participants will need to create a new account in ActiveNet in order to access the system.
