The 501st and Rebel Legions are organizations based on the popular movie characters. Members create and wear costumes of the villains and heroes from the saga, which includes but is not limited to the films, comics, books, games, and television shows.
Both Legions are international clubs that have over 20,000 members from over 40 nations worldwide and have become the premier Villains and Heroes costuming groups. Since the Legions’ inception it has been a volunteer club of costume enthusiasts who support their community and charity through their love of the movie saga. The groups, along with our sister groups the Mandalorian Mercs, The Dark Empire, Saber Guild, and the R2 Builders have raised just under a million dollars for charity directly in 2016 alone.
