Ernie Miller Park is JCPRD's 116-acre nature park consisting of a diverse range of habitats including tallgrass prairies, upland meadows, bottom land forest and a beautiful stream to explore.
The park also features an outdoor amphitheater with seating for 80 persons, picnic shelter, nature center and three miles of nature trails.

The park shelter is equipped with one multi-functional shelter available throughout the year.
Patrons can reserve shelters by phone at 913-831-3359 or walk-in to our registration office Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Welcomed Events
Gatherings such as weddings, graduations, corporate events, and birthdays are welcome. To ensure the use of a shelter, reservations are recommended. Note, during your event, please have a copy of your reservation form available.
