Program Policies and Info

Johnson County Arts & Heritage Center Fine & Performing Arts Program Refund Policy:

  • Any request must be received two weeks in advance of the program start date for which you are dropping enrollment and the minimum enrollment for the program must have been met. 
  • Each request must state the reason for the withdrawal.
  • These may be emailed to the program coordinator for each specific program.
  • Each refund of enrollment is subject to a $15 processing fee.

Inclement Weather Information:

In the event of inclement weather, program participants will be contacted via the email they registered with. Fine Arts program cancellations due to weather will also be announced via:  JCPRD Fine Arts Classes Page: jcprd.com/351/Art and The Johnson County Arts and Heritage Center Facebook page.

  • Volunteers are essential to help our programs run with success! If you are interested in becoming a visual arts volunteer, please email for additional information and opportunities. Some opportunities may include: Greeting Guests upon arrival to a program or special event, Program and event preparation tasks such as envelope stuffing, bag stuffing, template cut-outs, drawing copies, etc., Art-making alongside participants, sample projects, etc.
