Sewn Circuits Lab (Ages 10-15)
New! Learn about electronics while making a piece of glowing, wearable art. Students will sew wearable electronic components onto fabric to make glowing DIY patches that can be worn on any fabric item. Prior hand sewing experience is recommended.
Maker Labs: Maker Camp (Ages 8-15)
Get ready to flex your creative muscles and learn new skills as you design and make mechanical
contraptions and electronic creations during this Winter Break Camp. Both M-F and W-F camps will combine.

Make an Automata (Ages 10-15)
New! Make your own mechanized scene where your main character can move or jump about as you
control them via hand crank. Participants will learn a bit about mechanics, tools and
engineering as they build their automata from scratch.
3D Printing 101 (Ages 12-17)
Learn the basics of 3D Printing, including printer anatomy, function, 3D design and troubleshooting.
Students will need to bring their own laptop computer to this class capable of running a browser based program, no programs will need to be downloaded. Contact Fine Arts Coordinator, Ryan Bell with questions.

LED Lights Lab (Ages 10-15)
New! Wire up your own circuit to make a glowing creation!
Participants will learn about electricity and circuitry while making their own glowing artworks.
No experience necessary.
Art Bots Lab (Ages 10-15)
New! Make a robot that makes art for you! Learn about electricity as you build your own electrical
circuit to control your art bot. Engineer a body for your bot, then let your art bot loose to create a masterpiece.
Mechanical Hand Lab (Ages 10-15)
New! Do you need to pick up things that are far away? Want to wave to your friend in a crowded space?
Solve these problems and more by making an oversized mechanical hand. Participants will learn to use
tools made specifically for cardboard as well as mechanics and design skills during this lab.
3D Printed Character (Ages 12-17)
New! Learn how to design, 3D print, paint and finish your own character during this three-part series. Students will need to bring their own laptop computer to this class, contact [email protected] with questions.
Laser Cut Lamp (Ages 12-17)
Learn about laser cutting as you design your own patterns for a custom DIY wooden lamp. Students will need to bring their own laptop computer to this class capable of running a browser based program, no programs will need to be downloaded. Contact Fine Arts Coordinator, Ryan Bell with questions.
