A National Trails Day® celebration of Johnson County's parks and trails.

Shawnee Mission Park & Kill Creek Park

Pack the picnic basket, gather your family and friends, and kick off the summer with a "daycation" in Shawnee Mission Park and Kill Creek Park. As always, you'll find a fun-filled variety of facilities and activities to choose from, and on this special day all of them are free! 

This event coincides with JCPRD's annual free fishing weekend when both state and district fishing and boating permits, as well as JCPRD archery permits, are waived.
