This page was designed to answer any questions you may have about coaching teams through individual registration with JCPRD. Approved head coaches must submit the required forms below. Deadline to submit these forms is the registration deadline each season. In order to pick up team uniforms, all paperwork must be turned in. League rules, uniforms, practices, and more helpful information is below as well.
Background Screening Application - Once selected as coach, a link will be sent for you to fill out and submit online.
Individual Registration - Uniforms included - If you would like to pick your team color make sure to request it by the final deadline. They will be ordered a couple days after rosters are sent. Pick up will be the Friday before the start of the season at Okun Fieldhouse.
Team Registration - Uniforms are not included in registration.
Individual Registration - For coaches utilizing individual registration the practices will be booked through [email protected]. Coaches will receive a 1-hour practice per week at Okun Fieldhouse. Make sure to note that you are coaching a “House Team” and include the sport and grade. After that you can find our Practice Options online or call 913-826-2900 to see what times are available.
Team Registration - If your team is in need of a practice facility, there are opportunities at Okun Fieldhouse for a discounted rate. You can find these Practice Options online or call 913-826-2900 to see what times are available.
NFHS basketball rules will be enforced for ALL divisions with some Okun variances listed on our Okun Fieldhouse Basketball Rules page. You can also find more session specific information on our league information pages listed below.
Please contact all players before submitting your conflict form when registering. If there is a date that your team will be missing too many players to field a team, the Youth Sports Coordinator must be made aware by the registration deadline. Chances are, your team will have a school event, vacation...etc. that you can communicate with us at the time of registration.
If your team has a conflict with any game day or time, and a forfeit is imminent, please email the Youth Sports Coordinator stating your sport, team division, team name, conflict date, conflict time, and availability for reschedule. Your opponents will be contacted and will have the choice of working to reschedule or take a win via forfeit. Once this process has started, the original game will not be played, we do not revert back to previous versions of the schedule.
The sportsmanship committee consists of various facility managers, sports league coordinators, and supervisor of officials within JCPRD.
The sportsmanship committee works together when necessary to review any issues with behavior and codes of conduct during any JCPRD related event.
The sportsmanship committee as a whole will decide on any disciplinary action as needed on a case by case basis.
