Mobility & Access

Most public areas are wheelchair accessible. Courtesy wheelchairs are available for use at no charge on a first-come first-served basis.  To request a reasonable accommodation for assistive equipment in prohibited areas, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice.

Wheelchair accessible restrooms are available on both floors of the Johnson County Arts & Heritage Center.

There is an elevator available with access to both levels of the building. The elevator is located inside the museum doors on the main level and underneath the stairs, near the restrooms, on the museum level.

Trained service animals are welcome in our building. Due to the nature of the space, we are unable to accommodate emotional support animals.

Johnson County Museum

The museum galleries, including KidScape, are wheelchair accessible.
