Renovation has begun on the Antioch Park Helen S. Cuddy Memorial Rose Garden. This project will continue through the beginning of the year with a grand opening ceremony in spring. The rose garden holds a special place in many people’s hearts because the beautiful rose bushes are there in memory of their loved ones. That will not change, we have kept some of the soil from those bushes and will be replanting the same species to keep those memories alive.  If you’ve been out to the rose garden, you’ve probably also noticed a large monument with bronze nameplates mounted on it. Those names are part of the JCPRD Memorial Program. Due to renovation, the monument and nameplates have been removed and put in storage for safe keeping. The monument will be reinstalled in a designated area near its original location.
