COVID-19 Protocols

As we look forward to racing in 2021 and beyond, we want you to know that your health and safety is our top priority. Keeping this in mind, race day is going to look a little different than it has in the past.

 We thank you for accepting the changes and procedures we must follow in order to comply with health and safety guidelines. Your cooperation allows us to create the safest environment possible at the same time, keeping everyone safe while doing what they love.

*Please note that in order to comply with local health officials guidelines, we are unable to allow spectators to attend this event (race day AND packet pickup). We encourage those wanting to spectate to register to volunteer on event day.

  • Packet pickup will be conducted in a drive thru format at Mill Creek Activity Center.

  • Athletes will be required to wear a face covering when not actively participating in the event. This includes packet pickup.
  • Staff will wear face coverings at all times.
  • Volunteers will wear face coverings at all times.
  • Spectators (where allowed) will wear face coverings at all times.
No Spectators Allowed
  • In order to comply with federal, state, and local guidelines, spectators will not be allowed at this event. 
  • If you are interested in still attending the event, please consider registering to volunteer on race day.
Temperature & Wellness Questionnaire graphic
  • Athletes will be required to complete an electronic wellness questionnaire prior to event day. 
  • Athletes will have 48 hours to complete the questionnaire
  • If any question is answered "YES", the athlete will be unable to participate and will receive a refund. 
  • Temperature checks will be conducted on all athletes as they enter the race venue. Any elevated temperature (>100.4) will prevent entry into the event. Spectators entered with their underage or challenged athlete will also be screened at this time. 
  • Temperature checks will be conducted on all staff and volunteers at the information tent upon check in. Any elevated temperature (>100.4) will prevent entry into the event.


Physical Distancing graphic
  • Athletes will be required to maintain a minimum of a 6-foot distance from one another while inside the event venue and at packet pickup. 
  • Markings will be placed on the ground at congregation points. 


Sanitization graphic
  • High touch areas will be disinfected often.
  • Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the course and race site.
  • Hand sanitizer will be available inside all portable restrooms and hand washing stations will also be available.
  • Individually packed water and snacks will be available at the finish line after the event.

  • Finish line will be livestreamed. Livestream location will be updated as it becomes available.
Highly Recommend graphic
  • Don't show up if you are feeling ill or have COVID-19/flu-like symptoms. 
  • Don't share anything: food, drinks, gear ... nothing. 
  • Do wash your hands or use hand sanitizer after visiting the portable restrooms or touching a high contact surface. 
  • Do practice physical distancing - ensure appropriate spacing between athletes: at least 6 feet.
