Johnson County Park & Recreation District has two Marinas: Shawnee Mission Park Marina and Kill Creek Park Marina. Rainout Line is our notification system. It is easy to use and allows you to receive event, program and facility closures, cancellations and notifications instantly through whichever method you choose. 

Our staff takes many things into consideration when making the determination on whether or not to close fields and facilities, or cancel events, including weather radar, current weather conditions, and field conditions. We work hard to be as timely as possible, while also being careful not to cancel too quickly.
