Availability & Scheduling

Private Swim Lesson program is a first come first serve program based on instructor availability.  If no instructors are available, participant will be put on a waiting list and contacted when instructor availability opens.

Lessons are scheduled based on the participant’s and instructor’s availability during normal open operation hours of the Shawnee Mission School District Aquatic Center.  There are a few times that private lessons are not allowed to take place, and this is reviewed in the participant information form.

Before private lessons can be scheduled, a  Participant Information Form must be completed and submitted online. Once information is submitted, information will be reviewed by aquatic staff. After reviewed, an instructor will be assigned to contact you and begin scheduling lessons. If all instructors are unavailable at time of submitting form, participant will be placed on a waiting list until an instructor is available.
