Course Options

Triathlon - Sprint

500-meter swim | 10.6-mile bike | 3.1-mile run

  • The swim is an out and back beginning on the west side of the beach and ending on the east side of the beach
  • Athletes will have the option of a mass start (50 per group) or a time trial start which will be lined up based on your 500-meter pace time
  • The bike will be a loop which will leave the park and head out on the county roads. Athletes will be instructed to ride on the left side of the road inside the park and on the right side of the road outside of the park. 
  • The run will take you along the paved trials inside Kill Creek Park finishing in the north parking lot of the beach. 
  • This event is open to individuals, Athena/Clydesdale, Physically Challenged athletes, and 2 or 3-person relay teams. 

Sprint Aquabike

  • The swim is an out and back beginning on the west side of the beach and ending on the east side of the beach

Duathlon - Sprint

1.5-mile run | 10.6-mile bike | 3.1-mile run

  • The runs will both be out and backs starting on the north side of the beach house/west side of transition (run exit). 
  • Athletes will start in a group on the trail on the north side of the beach house along the trail. 
  • The bike will be a loop which will leave the park and head out on the county roads. Athletes will be instructed to ride on the left side of the road inside the park and on the right side of the road outside of the park. 
  • The second run will take you along the paved trials inside Kill Creek Park finishing in the north parking lot of the beach. 
  • This event is open to individuals, Physically Challenged athletes, and 2 or 3-person relay teams.
