Page To Stage (Ages 6-8)

Explore stories and bring them to life! In Page to Stage, participants will get to bring to life Pete the Cat, Elephant and Piggie, 3 Billy Goats Gruff…to name a few! Class will culminate in a brief sharing.

Fantasies and Fairy Tales (Ages 6-8)

What is the difference between a fantasy and a fairytale? How do we know if Harry Potter is a fantasy and Frozen is fairytale? Or Vice Versa? This class will unpack all the exciting elements of your child’s favorite fairytales and fantasies! They will explore using creative drama, story journeys, and music and movement.

Out of the Box! Creative Drama Class (Ages 6-8)

This is not a BOX! It’s a cave, a castle, a rocket ship, a mountain, a VOLCANO! Through the use of creative drama participants will create their own imaginative places starting with cardboard boxes.

To Be or Not To Be: Creating a Shakespearean Character! (Ages 12-16)

Find the perfect Shakespearean monologue and learn the fundamentals of creating Shakespearean characters in this 8 week course which will culminate in a showcase for parents.

Physical Theater Intensive (Ages 12-16)

This genre of theatrical performance that pursues storytelling through primarily physical means. Several performance traditions all describe themselves as "physical theater," but the unifying aspect is a reliance on physical motion of the performers rather than or combined with text to convey the story. These participants will devise their own physical piece of theater and also co-participate in the faces and figures drawing class.

Playwriting 101: Write Your Play (Ages 12-16)

The stage is a magical place. Live actors and a live audience make for an immediacy no other art of the written word can duplicate. The ancient Greeks and Romans believed that the dramatic "poet" (that's us) had the power and the duty to "teach and to please," and it's a tradition that lives on to this day. Sounds great. But how do you do it? In this course, taught by a professional playwright, students will get to write their very own play! All while learning the fundamentals of playwriting. This class will culminate in a staged reading.

Homeschool Theater Troupe (Ages 9-12)

Explore various units of theater throughout a 12-week course. Participants will get to operate as their own theater troupe culminating in a performance.
