Clay provides an opportunA woman building a clay pot on a ceramic wheelity for problem-solving and creative thinking within a tranquil and reassuring environment. You will have the opportunity to learn how to properly adhere separate clay pieces through score and slip, how to use various clay tools, and how to apply glaze to a finished design culminating in beautiful works of art ready to display!

Multi-Colored Fabric in RollsThe process of dyeing is broad as you explore different methods, materials, and fabrics to make beautiful, unique designs. This class will focus on traditional dyeing and bleaching techniques. No class 03.16.20.

Mini Holiday Ornaments (Ages 16 & Older)

Teaching Artist: Kelly Darling

Using a simple technique, wPendants with symbols, blue background Opens in new windowe will use clay to make small to medium sized pendants that can be worn as jewelry, used as a decorative ornament, or a charm to hang from the car’s rear-view mirror with a fun aromatherapy twist! By leaving the backside of the pendants unglazed, the pendants can absorb essential oils for a fragrant and enjoyable experience.

Open Art Studio, B1V1 (Ages 16 & Older)

Whether your passion is Man painting with watercolorsthe pottery wheel, oil paints, or charcoal, this weekly meet-up offers a relaxing, safe, encouraging environment for you to create in the medium of your choice at your leisure. Studio time for you, by you.

Tuesday Nights, 5:30pm-8:30pm through 2019

Thursday Nights, 6pm-8:30pm beginning in 2020!

This is a drop-in program for $10 per person. No pre-registration required. Check in at the front desk upon arrival. Bring receipt with you to the Art Studio.
