Clay Creations (Ages 3-6)
Teaching Artist: Angie Yang
Young children are naturally inclined to poke and prod at the smooth and malleable qualities of clay. This program invites your child to engage in his or her curiosity and imagination while working with a teaching artist to learn basic, introductory ceramics concepts. This program is taught with a process approach in order to instill positive self-esteem in your child. Prografee includes glazing and firing for a final keepsake to take home. Parents are welcome and encouraged to join this class.
Mini Michelangelos Camp (Ages 4-7)
Teaching Artist: Devin Graham
Learn the many talents of Michelangelo and other High Renaissance artists as you sculpt, paint, and design. You will learn realism, perspective, and…wait…what in the world does chiaroscuro mean anyway? Snack and water bottle required. Wear clothes that can get messy. This program takes place at the Prairie Village Community Center.

Register: July Session Monday, July 29-Friday, August 2
Petite Picassos* (Ages 3-6)

This program has shifted to a drop-in program. Stop by the front desk on the last Tuesday of every month, get checked in, and show your receipt for the $5 fee to the Teaching Artist! It is that easy!
On the final Tuesday of every month, join a teaching artist in the art studio as you read a book, look at art work and create a thematic work of art! Parents are welcome and encouraged to join this class.
*This program also takes place at Mill Creek Activity Center
STEAM Sculptural Saturdays (Ages 2-6)
Teaching Artist: Dani Tuttle
On the second Saturday of each month, explore three-dimensional art through STEAM. Adult and child work together to create a one-of-a-kind sculpture with balance, unity, and movement! Different materials are explored each month. Parents are encouraged to join this class.
