Thank you for your interest in assisting JCPRD in the development of our new American’s with Disabilities Act (ADA) Transition Plan. A part of our commitment to the ADA is the thoughtful creation of a community survey to seek public input on accessibility issues and/or suggestions regarding JCPRD’s parks, facilities, and services. We welcome your feedback.
The future Camp Branch Park is located at the northwest corner of 183rd Street and Mission Road (east of Camp Branch Glade). It is undeveloped and consists largely of hay fields, rock outcroppings, and Oak/Hickory forest. Analysis of the site, community feedback, and more will help us identify development concepts and recommendations to include in the final Camp Branch Park Master Plan. JCPRD will then use it to guide future park investments. The effort will advance our commitment to enhancing the quality of life in Johnson County by providing high-quality parks, services, and recreation programs.
A public meeting will be held on Monday, February 25, from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. The meeting will begin with a presentation at 5:45 p.m. that describes the drafted concept for the future Camp Branch Park.
