Meadowbrook Programs & Events
JCPRD offers a variety of programs and events planned for spaces both inside and outside the Clubhouse for all ages. Expect to see family & holiday events, morning/evening adult fitness classes, 5K training, bicycle groups, nature classes, cooking classes, and much more in our new and beautiful park and clubhouse.
Facility Rental
The event space boasts beautiful views from its wall of ceiling to floor windows and warm inviting stone faced fireplace. A perfect venue for your wedding, business event, showers, or family reunions of up to 150 seated. The space can be divided to accommodate varying capacity needs. The Birch room is another lovely space filled with natural light spilling in from its many windows to help bring the outdoors in and can be reserved for parties of up to 20 seated guests.
Pickleball Courts
Meadowbrook Park has eight fully lit pickleball courts available for the public from 7am – 10pm daily. Times and days are subject to change due to court availability for JCPRD sponsored events. Drop-in play at these courts use the pickleball court rotation system.
Natureplay Preschool
Our Natureplay Preschool features discovery based learning with nature at the foundation of the curriculum with the goal to help young children develop a strong connection with the natural world at an early age. With a park in our backyard along with our outdoor classroom we provide the children with extended periods of outdoor exploration. While indoors, child initiated learning will increase awareness and appreciation of the natural world. Natureplay will be open year round and licensed for 24 children ages 3 to 5 years.
Meadowbrook Park
Meadowbrook Park in Prairie Village affords 80 acres of green space and many wonderful park features including a Treeline Adventure destination playground, a Grand Pavilion, shelters, tennis courts, The Grove playground, pickleball courts, Meadowbrook Hill, outdoor fitness equipment, paved trails, three ponds, and the beautiful Meadowbrook Park Clubhouse.
