Paws in the Park at Shawnee Mission Park
Unleash your dog for this once-a-year water party!! Come and enjoy a free, “Dog-On” great morning at the swimming beach in Shawnee Mission Park during the Paws in the Park portion of our annual A Day in the Park celebration. 

Paws in the Park provides an opportunity for you to enjoy Shawnee Mission Lake while swimming with your pooch, participating in organized water activities, and checking out a few local, dog related businesses.

Please note - This “tongue wagging” event takes place at Shawnee Mission Park Beach, NOT at the dog beach in the Off-Leash Area.
