The Sunflower Nature Park is a 60-acre park featuring an accessible nature trail, picnic shelter and fishing pond. The game fields located on the west side of the park are operated by the City of De Soto.

1 shelter with 6 tables, seating for 48 people No electricity Restroom near main entrance No drinking fountain 2 grills No playground Nature trail is one mile in length Guided nature walks for groups of 5 or more can be arranged by calling the      Ernie Miller Nature Center at (913) 764-7759. ½ mile of trail is wheelchair      accessible.
