Mid-America Sports Complex is regarded as one of the finest softball complexes in the Midwest. This 70-acre facility frequently hosts nightly leagues, baseball camps and national and regional tournaments. The complex was built in 1991 by private owners and was later acquired by the JCPRD in 1994 through the sale of revenue bonds. The complex is also complemented by the District’s operation of the nearby Mid-America West Sports Complex (MAWSC) located at 20200 Johnson Drive.

Adult Softball Leagues
Mid-America is one of four locations that host play for JCPRD recreational Adult Softball Leagues. Our leagues take place during the Spring, Summer and Fall. The other location JCPRD offers adult leagues is Heritage Park.

Softball Tournaments
A variety of softball tournaments are offered by JCPRD on weekends at the Mid-America Sports Complex and at Heritage Park. From late March through mid-October, teams may play in Qualifying, Invitational or other sponsored softball tournaments.

Softball Sales
U.S.S.S.A. (United States Specialty Sports Association) sanctioned softballs are sold at all softball field locations. Softballs used at Mid-America Softball Complex must be purchased at Mid-America.

Multipurpose Field Rentals
Field rentals may be made on a one time only basis or on a regular basis. All fees are non-refundable after reservation is made. Fees will be refunded only if reservation is canceled by JCPRD. Contact JCPRD for details.

Multipurpose Rental Fees
Our multipurpose fields rental fees are $20 per hour. Fields can be marked for additional $50 fee. Contact JCPRD for details.
