Kill Creek Park is the newest and third regional park in JCPRD's park system. Opened in 2001, the park's easily accessible, and yet secluded, 880 acres are located in western Johnson County between between De Soto and Olathe. Reserve a Kill Creek shelter today. Shelter #1
  • Located north of the beach. Parking at Mill Creek Streamway access point.       Portable restroom located nearby. Shelter has one accessible table and
          drinking fountain. Playground within walking distance.
  • 15 tables ( 1 handicapped accessible), seating for 90 people
  • 2 grills
  • Path to shelter is handicapped accessible
  • Electricity available in shelter
  • Restroom nearby
  • Adjacent parking
  • Drinking Fountain (handicapped accessible)

Shelter #2

  • Located between the beach and marina. Parking is at east end of beach
         parking lot with path to shelter. Shelter has one accessible table and
         drinking fountain.
  • 10 tables, seating for 60 people
  • 2 grills
  • Drinking Fountain
  • Electricity available in shelter
  • No Restroom available (available in marina)
  • Adjacent parking

Shelter #3

  • Located north of the marina and overlooks small pond. Playground is
         within walking distance. Shelter has one accessible table and
         drinking fountain.
  • 10 tables ( 1 handicapped accessible), seating for 60 people
  • 2 grills
  • Path to shelter is handicapped accessible
