The Kansas City Senior Games are presented by Johnson
County Park and Recreation District's 50 Plus Department.
The 3nd Annual 2006 Kansas City Senior Games Sept
15-18th
The Kansas City Senior Games (KCSG) provides amateur athletes 50
years of age and older an opportunity to compete against each other.
This year promises to be bigger and better with new events such as:
tennis doubles, race walking (coordinated by Heartland Race Walkers),
bridge, softball, and swimming. These additions join returning events
including: single and team bowling, billiards, golf, horseshoes,
shuffleboard, Tennis singles, and the 5 kilometer run.
Gold, silver, and bronze medals are given to top athletes in each
five year age division.
Don’t Miss the 2006 Opening Ceremonies!
Enjoy a party
and Dance in the Park as the torch is lit to signal the start of
the 3rd Annual
Kansas City Senior Games in 2006. Join us to honor athletes before
competition begins. Bring a lawn chair, your picnic basket and your
dancing shoes.
Family, friends and the public are all welcome.
