    Master Plan and Design

Both a master plan and designs for Big Bull Creek were completed in 2016. The vision for this park was a destination park like no other, focused on nature-based learning, play, and restoration, which supports and complements not only the immediate neighboring communities but the Johnson County park system as a whole."

A bid for Phase I development was awarded in late February 2017 to National Streetscape Inc., of Blue Springs, Mo. Anticipated completion of the park is early summer 2018. The estimated project cost is $6 million.
