|New Doggie Treats Cooking Class Offered for Adults on April 21|
Our dogs play a very important part in our family and lives, so consider doing something nice for Fido. A new program offered by the Johnson County Park and Recreation District will teach adults 18 and older how to make homemade doggie treats.
The program is called Doggie Treats and will include instruction and recipes for making healthy and tasty canine treats. Search for the keyword "cooking" to find this program in the JCPRD's Activities Catalog and online listings.
This program is offered at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 21, at the Roeland Park Community Center, 4850 Rosewood, Roeland Park. The cost for one 90-minute session is $12 for Johnson County residents or $14 for nonresidents. In addition, there is a $5 supply fee, payable to the instructor.
The JCPRD's ACTIVITIES catalog, with information and a registration form, is available for pick-up at all Johnson County Library branches.
