|Halloween Happenings Program Offered For Ages 3 to 6 at Three Locations in Late October|
Halloween fun is the goal of a new program for children ages three to six being offered by the Johnson County Park and Recreation District at four locations during late October.
The program is called Halloween Happenings. Participants will create Halloween crafts, hear a spooky story, and enjoy special treats. Search for the keyword "holiday" to find this program in the JCPRD’s Activities Catalog and online listings.
This program will take place at three locations between Oct. 20 and 25. Each location is offering one class at 10 a.m., and another at 1 p.m.. The program will be presented at the Overland Park Community Center, 6300 W. 87th St., Overland Park, on Friday, Oct. 20. The program will be presented at the Roeland Park Community Center, 4850 Rosewood, Roeland Park, on Monday, Oct. 23. The final programs will be offered at the Tomahawk Recreation Complex, 17501 Midland Drive, Shawnee on Wednesday, Oct. 25. The cost for one 60-minute session is $10 for Johnson County residents or $11 for nonresidents.
