|Ernie Miller Park Owl Prowl Offered on Oct. 13, Nov. 4 & 5|
Great horned, barred, and screech owls make their home in Ernie Miller Park. Come learn more about these fascinating birds during the Johnson County Park and Recreation District's Ernie Miller Nature Park Owl Prowl offered at three different times this fall.
The District's Interpretive Staff will lead an informative talk featuring two live owls. This will be followed by a hike into the night environment. Come dressed for the weather. A cup of hot cider will conclude the hike. The program is for ages 16 and older as well as children ages five and up when accompanied by an adult. This one-session program will take place at Ernie Miller Park, 909 N. Kansas 7 Highway, Olathe at the following days and times: Oct. 13 at 7:30 p.m; and Nov. 3 and 4 at 6:30 p.m. The cost for one 90-minute session is $7 per person for Johnson County residents or $8 for nonresidents. Preregistration is required.
